"It's honestly a perfect movie, and I'd recommend everyone watch it."

"It's been a while since a movie has left such a positive impression on me at the movie theater."

"The Matrix is my favorite movie of all time. It's the perfect mix of sci-fi, action, atmosphere, music, pacing, choreography, and overall storytelling. I watched that movie probably 100 times after I got the DVD for Christmas as a teen."

"Seeing it in the movie theater when it opened and having no idea what was happening was absolutely mind-blowing. I wish everybody could feel that moment. It's lost now since everyone knows the story or the concept...but then? Oh, absolutely incredible."

"Great chemistry between the characters, and every scene serves to progress the story."

"And it was almost completely different. The film spent years in production hell. It was originally meant to be this grand musical epic, like The Lion King, called Kingdom of the Sun. After really poor test screenings, Disney execs split the production team in half, gave half to Roger Allers, the original director, and half to Mike Dindal, who wanted to pivot towards comedy. The studio vastly preferred the comedy version of Dindal, but still almost shut production down entirely, giving Dindal just two weeks to come up with a version that would work. That was the film we got. There's a documentary film called The Sweatbox by Trudie Styler (wife of Sting, who was involved in the soundtrack) that covers the production of it; it's pretty good!"

"Every line pays off; it is literally the perfect movie."

"The Incredibles remains one of the most incredible movies I've ever seen. Never missed a beat from start to finish."

"Every time I rewatch that movie, I get surprised by just how good it is because the main thing everyone remembers from it is the 'rat under a hat controlling the chef' bit. Then you watch the actual movie, and it has this awesome message: 'Everyone can cook' doesn't mean everyone is talented. Some people aren't destined for greatness, and that's okay, but to truly find distinguished talent, we have to be willing to nurture it no matter where it comes from. Like man, what an awesome message for such an out-there premise."

"Everything Everywhere All at Once is the only movie I'm currently giving a 10/10. The themes, the acting, the VFX especially — it all fucking works. And not to mention the behind-the-scenes of it too (it brought Ke Huy Quan back after a long time of not acting, made the multiverse look interesting in the middle of Marvel's failed multiverse era, and the small budget made it a passion project through and through)."

"Shrek 2 is one of the best movies I have ever seen."

"It's one of the few movies where every single scene, every line of dialogue, and every character arc feels perfectly placed. The ending is earned, not just given. I can watch it once a year and still find something new to appreciate."
