“Weekend Update” host Colin Jost took on President Donald Trump over the weekend after he fired Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was reportedly booted over her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files.

“Because the only person Trump has ever trusted to handle the Epstein situation is a prison guard with the cameras off,” quipped the host, whose nod to the “Epstein didn’t kill himself” conspiracy theory sparked groans from the “SNL” crowd.

Jost, who cracked that Bondi was “asked to redact herself” as AG, went further.

“I kind of understand. If I was Trump, I’d be mad, too, if someone took a Sharpie and drew all over my favorite memories,” joked the host of the Justice Department’s heavily-redacted files on the late convicted sex offender.

Elsewhere in the monologue, co-host Michael Che called out Trump for referring to his Iran war as a “little journey” during a prime-time address last week.

“Because little journeys are all anyone can afford to take now,” he joked as an image of $6 a gallon gas prices flashed alongside him on screen.
