Jimmy Kimmel found some of President Donald Trump’s latest claims about his war in Iran to be truly baffling.

The late night host played a clip of Trump calling in to CNBC to talk about how much longer other wars were, such as 19 years for Vietnam.

“I’m five months, OK?” Trump said. “Five months.”

“Yeah, come on guys. Quagmires take time,” Kimmel replied. “You have to let them bake.”

But he also spotted a problem with Trump’s math.

“It’s such a crazy thing to say,” he said. “And not even correct! He’s not five months into it. He’s two months in. He doesn’t even know how long this war that’s been going on too long has been going on.”

That’s not the only wild war claim from the president.

He also insisted he would have won the Vietnam War “very quickly” if he had been president at the time.

Kimmel didn’t buy it.
