Including hands-free cleaning tablets for your garbage disposal, your washing machine, your dishwasher, *and* your water bottle. I'm a resident writer, cat mom, and obsessive online shopper who is passionate about quirky pet products, home decor, size-inclusive fashion, and, above all, perfumes. FYI, if you want to get a deep clean, you might need to do an initial few rounds of this stuff for optimal, sparkly results. After that, Wet and Forget is perfect for weekly maintenance, so you don't have to do that as often. Promising review: "I had a horrible gray ring in the bottom of my shower that was impossible to remove. I had tried the Dawn dish soap method (with a lot of scrubbing) and had even used toilet bowl cleaner to try to remove the soap scum. My next step was to tear out and replace the shower pan and tile. I figured this was my last chance. I ordered the Wet and Forget Shower Spray and really coated the shower walls and floor pan and walked away. I CANNOT begin to tell you how happy I was to rinse down the walls sometime later and watch all that crud roll right down the drain!! This is the best product I have ever used in my life!! Works great and no toxic fumes!!" —Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $20.98 (available in two scents, a two-pack, and a refill size). Promising review: "I have never once written an Amazon review. Buy this now. I have lived in a place with hard water for three years and could not figure out how to remove the stains from our shower door. Removed all stains in five minutes. Smells like mint, pleasant, not chemically. Worth every penny." —Lauren H. Sutherland The head of the handle rotates 360 degrees to target hard-to-reach places, and there's a hole at the end of the handle so you can hang this to store. FYI, using a Magic Eraser with the scrubber handle helps it last up to five times longer! Promising review: "I love this thing! The handle makes it so much easier to wash the walls in my shower. No more grinding my knuckles against the shower wall as I'm cleaning it. Just a handle and an easy glide. They are thick and sturdy and the normal size of a Magic Eraser. I was hoping they would be thicker, but I'm okay with it. I'm definitely a fan and will buy it again!" —Dawne Get the handle and two Magic Erasers from Amazon for $12.94. Promising review: "These are a must for apartment move-outs, and the value for money is great. While these aren't as durable as I'd personally like (any significant scrubbing crumbles them), they get the job done when paper towels and elbow grease just can't. Pro-tip: Unless you're trying to attack a large area and only need a light touch, cut these sponges into thirds or quarters lengthwise for a more effective scrubbing experience! Direct pressure makes all the difference (but crumbles the sponges quickly), so this prevents the awkwardness of crumbled, dirty edges and a perfect untouched middle." —B Promising review: "Do you have a stinky garbage disposal? If so, get some of these. They are cheap, smell nice. And the foaming action really provides you with a visual they are cleaning the drain. After using these the garbage disposal seems smoother (fewer strange noises, like it's been lubricated). I'd recommend these over Plinks any day as I feel the Plinks only hide smells whereas these foaming packets actually clean the disposal."—Sugacookie Get a pack of four from Amazon for $7.60. Promising review: "This stuff is some magic sorcery. I’m not usually a fan of traditional cleaning products and tend to opt for natural-based cleaners. However, I had some soot over the fireplace that nothing would take off. Not only did it do a pretty dang good job on that…everything I’ve tried it on has gotten that item super clean with minimal scrubbing effort. Will always have on hand now. Got hard water stains off when CRL wouldn’t even get it clean and made the faucet look brand-new." —Kim Montero Promising review: "I’m really glad I did. This is so easy to use. It’s so quick and easy and removes really tough stains, and it smells great. I have already used it to clean the inside glass of the oven and to remove stubborn stains on my bathroom tiles that my regular bathroom cleaner couldn't remove. Really good product." —Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $10.99 (also available on its own without the sponge). It's super quick to install, and one cartridge can last up to three months! Promising review: "This is an excellent invention for keeping the toilet bowl fresh without a tablet that harms the flush seal. I was frequently replacing the seals in the tank but with this setup the seals last and last." —Awesome Guy If it starts to run low on battery, it'll automatically go back to its base to recharge. Reviewers do recommend keeping stray items like socks and cords off the floor before running this. Promising review: "This robo vacuum is incredible! I have three dogs and a cat; this vacuum is a time saver. I run it each day and it has done an incredible job of keeping pet hair, dirt and debris picked up in my home. Works well on carpet, hardwood, and tile floors. Wish I had purchased it sooner!" —t. hampton I have this stuff, and omg — it's a lifesaver for a house without a dishwasher. I use it for more than just dishes, too. It's amazing at cleaning my old gas stovetop, and scrubbing it down, which used to take me 30 minutes, takes closer to five, now. Get a foaming kit from Amazon for $12.99 (and check out the refills, which are available in three scents). The two-speed runs for about three hours on a single USB-C charge. It comes with seven scrubber heads. Promising review: "I recently got this handheld cleaning brush, and it made cleaning so much easier! It has two speed options, a clear battery display, and charges quickly with a USB-C cable. The different brush heads are great for different surfaces, and they’re super easy to swap out. I also love that it’s waterproof, so I can use it in the bathroom without worry. Overall, it’s lightweight, simple to use, and gets the job done. Highly recommend!" —MieCah Get it from Amazon for $21.98+ (available in three colors). The set comes with a 2-inch flat brush, a 4-inch flat brush, and a round brush. The drill isn't included, but you can grab a basic Black and Decker one ($49.99 on Amazon) if needed that'll do the trick. Note: Each color of the Drill Brush attachment corresponds to the type of bristles they have, and each one is best suited for a specific type of cleaning job (for example, the yellow brush has medium bristles, best used for bathroom cleaning — bathtubs, showers, tile, and porcelain). Be sure to check the listing for which color is best for your intended purpose before buying! Drill Brush is a small business based in New York that makes cleaning brushes that attach to drills. It was started in 2007 by a former electrician with carpal tunnel who needed a way to clean without causing himself harm. Promising review: "I thought my hard water stains would never come off my shower doors, but I bought this awesome brush set, and it's amazing! I’ve tried all the hacks — drier sheets, clean erasers, lemon, vinegar — nothing works like this brush! I used Zep shower cleaner with it! In the picture, the side on the right is the part of the door I cleaned, and I still have to clean the left side." —Traci D. Get it from Amazon for $19.99+ (available in six colors and stiffness levels). Promising review: "These tablets added to the cleaning cycle of my front-load machine are far more effective than hot water alone. They effectively clean and reduce/eliminate mildew odors, which build up no matter how much I air out the machine after doing laundry. Just toss one into the basket when the cleaning cycle alert comes on, and your washing machine will love you for it." —Tami T. Get a pack of six from Amazon for $11.98. Promising review: "I’m so glad I discovered this cleanser. Plumbing backed up…the smell lingered after several cycles with bleach, baking soda, vinegar and dishwasher detergent. I almost gave in to purchasing a new dishwasher before discovering Affresh Dishwasher Cleaner. It worked after the first use. I now use it monthly." —lejay Get a pack of six tablets from Amazon for $8.98. Several reviewers also recommend this for stainless-steel coffee pots! All you have to do is fill your bottle with warm water, drop a single tablet in, and let it fizz the gunk away. The tablet dissolves completely, so once you dump out the water, you can use your bottle again right away! Check out BuzzFeed's full write-up on Bottle Bright. I use these to clean my water bottle, and they turned a really tedious task into a breeze. I also like to shake my bottle to make sure the solution really gets into the straw of my HydroFlask. Promising review: "In all my years of attempting to remove the tea stains from my large white ceramic mug and metal tumblers, I have never come across anything as effective as this product; it is simply amazing (I wish I had taken before and after photos). I filled the mug with boiled water, dropped in a Bottle Bright cleaning tablet, and let it do its magic. Within one hour, the tea stains from the metal tumbler were lifted, literally, and floating. My white ceramic mug took a bit longer, but the result was also absolutely perfect, as if both of these drinking containers were brand-new." —Bruce P. Starr Get a pack of 12 tablets from Amazon for $7.99. Promising review: "Surprised. This actually works. It won't work instantly; you have to be patient. I had bright white, huge water spots from a can of soda left on a mahogany table. Nothing worked. Definitely had to put some elbow grease into it, but after about 20 minutes, the stain faded significantly. If you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't even notice it anymore. It's not completely gone, but it saves the table. I'll work on it some more and see if I can get the rest out tomorrow, but as of tonight, I'm extremely pleased, as I thought this table was going to have to be refinished." —Leyden-Mom Promising review: "The automatic cleaning feature works really well, and I like that it can handle different brush sizes and even sponges. The drying function is a huge plus—my brushes come out clean, soft, and ready to use almost immediately." —Yanira Sanchez It comes with a microfiber cloth, and is safe to use on upholstery, fabric, canvas, leather, vinyl, plastic, rubber, metals, and wood trim. It cannot be used on glass or screens. Promising review: "Seriously, what is this sorcery? I've had my car for 10 years and have never thought to clean the upholstery and the infinite food/grease spills from tilted takeout boxes of authentic Mexican food. I embarrassingly got used to the way it looked until one day I cleaned my car really thoroughly and realized the seats were disgusting. So I tried the product. I cleaned small sections so it wouldn’t dry (with a scrub brush) and then used a few microfiber towels to wipe up anything remaining. It worked so well! No fumes." —KO Promising review: "Absolutely the best spot remover in the world! It will remove just about everything from your fabric! I even used it for a very old doily that was so discolored and stained that I almost threw it away. All the old stains and knitted portions were over 15 years old since they had never been washed. It is bright and clean and white now. It used to look brown. It was handmade by my dear departed aunt, made 35+ years ago! It's ready for framing now!" —Dancing Hawaiian BuzzFeed Shopping editor Maitland Quitmeyer loves this stain-removing polish: "I bought this for my white porcelain kitchen sink, and I've since texted five people about it, which is really a lot for such a boring grown-up product. It cleans beautifully, but the *best* thing about it is its ability to repel stains after cleaning. You know that thing when you rinse out your coffee cup and the coffee water just lingers in your sink and you have to purposefully rinse it out for two minutes? You don't have to do that — the coffee can't stick to the sink and just goes RIGHT down the drain. Time saved, sink clean — this is really a Virgo dream product right here." Promising review: "Holy banana peppers! This stuff ROCKS! I seriously made my husband and daughter come into the kitchen to look at my sparkly sink! This is the cleanest this sink has ever been, and I seriously LOVE this product! Off to order more before you all read my review and discover its true awesomeness. Believe me, the difference is amazing!!" —Amazon Customer Get it from Amazon for $11, or the value size for $29.95. It also self-propels so you just need to steer, no hard pushing! Promising review: "I confess I can be a lackadaisical housekeeper, which is problematic, since my new dog sheds enough in a week for me to build an entire new dog. What's worse, vacuuming doesn't pick up a lot of his fur. This Tineco is magic, though. Not only does it pick everything up (dust, fur, hair, crumbs, Nature's Miracle, errant Cheerios), but because the wheels are motorized, vacuuming/mopping is a breeze. I get exhausted using my canister vac, but this thing is a blast to use. Here is what I've learned: I always use the 'extra water' feature, which seems to work better. I clean the dirty water holder and parts every time I empty it, and I run the self-clean cycle after every second emptying session. This means I can do my primary bath and my 10x12 TV room before self-cleaning and recharging for a little bit. Or I can do my kitchen and entryway, and hall before self-cleaning, or my living room. In other words, you're not going to do your whole house on one battery charge or without running the self-cleaning feature several times. Of course, the reason you have to run the self-cleaning so often is because this little beauty is picking up So. Much. Stuff. It's magic. If it broke tomorrow (and I don't think it will break for a very long time) I would buy another." —Customer It's safe to use on all sealed floors, including hardwood, marble, tile, and stone. Promising reviews: "I hate mopping. I love the Shark Steam and Scub. I have tried many different products over the years, always looking for an easier way to mop. The steam and scrub is by far the easiest product I’ve ever used. I was able to clean all my tile rooms in less than an hour. The power and steam were perfect, and having the long cord was great. When I washed the pads in the washer, they came out like new. I highly recommend this product." —Arizona "I have four kids and two dogs and have struggled to keep my hardwood floors looking clean. This steamer takes minutes to use. It warms up in seconds and instantly has my floors spotless and without excess water. They dry quickly. Then simply throw the cleaning pads into the wash on a gentle cycle and air dry. I wish I had bought this years ago!!" —Valerie Get it from Amazon for $119.99+ (also available with extra scrubbing pads). Promising review: "I recently befriended an elderly person that really needed some help to stay in her home. When I saw the condition of the master sink and shower, I knew I really needed something good that could work fast and remove all the rust stains. This product was recommended by another friend that also has a well and in just 30 minutes I had all the stains gone in the sink. The shower on the other hand took a lot more elbow grease over a few days but love the results! My friend and I are EXTREMELY pleased with the results! Now all I have to do is spray it once a month and stains are gone again!" —GZ Promising review: "I rarely review products, but this little sponge literally changed my life! It picks up EVERYthing in one swipe! Hard water marks on your bathroom mirror, no problem! Hair clippings on your sink and counter, one swipe and they are gone! Dusty blinds? Swoosh, swoosh, swipe! And ala-presto ka-bam, like magic, they are perfect and dust-free! I just need one of these for my floors! I love, love, love how the sponge picks up everything, and with a little running water, all the dust, hair, muck, and guck just rinsed away! This will not disappoint! Thank you!" —DayDreamer Get a pack of four from Amazon for $8.15 (available in six color packs). Quick N Brite is a family-owned small biz based in the Pacific Northwest, btw! Promising review: "Cleaned discolored tile in front of the fireplace, which is used almost every night during the winter. House is 70 years old. Followed the directions given on the product. Tile looks brand-new with very little effort!!" —kellyMReads Get it from Amazon for $19.99 (includes a scrub brush). Promising review: "Where has this been all my cat-loving life? Sticky rollers work fine for clothes, but this is the only product that has ever COMPLETELY removed all the cat hair from my bed. I have a long-haired 20-pound tabby, and if you run your hands up his back a few times and fling the hair everywhere, it looks like it's snowing — he never stops shedding no matter what I do. After using the ChomChom, I can put on a black dress and roll around on my bed and not get a single hair on me. It's absolutely amazing. Everyone is getting one for Christmas, even if they don't have a pet. I don't care — it's THAT good." —DH * I’ve Written About Cleaning For *13 Years*: I Actually Use These 21 Effective Tips * Things That Will Give You Home The Deep Clean Of Its Life * Products Parents Swear By For Keeping Their Homes (Mostly) Clean And Organized * Stop Procrastinating On Cleaning Your Bathroom, And Use These Products * Places You Should Probably Clean And Definitely Haven't * People Who “Hate” Cleaning Swear By These Products, And You Will Too * Products That’ll Clean Your House On The *Outside* Plus, laundry detergent for sensitive skin and finds from Walmart.
