Jimmy Fallon doesn’t have high hopes for President Donald Trump’s summit with Chinese leader Xi Jinping ― and he summed up his pessimism in a big burn on Tuesday’s “Tonight Show.” (Watch the video below.)

“The two leaders aren’t expected to make any kind of major deal,” the host said. “Yeah, it’s nice. Trump can take a break from not making a deal with Iran to not making a deal with China.”

Fallon got in a few other digs at Trump’s first presidential visit to China since 2017.

“He said he can’t wait to see where all his hats are born,’” the comedian cracked.

Fallon also expressed concern over diplomacy because the president “thinks Mandarin is the guy who carries around Baby Yoda.”

Against the backdrop of his drawn-out war with Iran, the president seeks to reach accords with China on American food and aircraft, The Associated Press reported. He said he planned to talk trade with Xi “more than anything else.”
