I don’t think I know a single person who has their own apartment. "I lost my dog recently. The vet wanted over $1,000 just to get X-rays to diagnose her. I had already spent over $500 on a blood test. I didn’t have the money, so I had to decline. Now that my dog died, I feel guilty for not finding the money somehow. With other dogs, it didn’t cost so much in the past. Really made me think that now we're living in a time where no matter how hard I worked to be financially stable, I can’t protect my most important companion."
