Yves Tumor Replaced On Turnstile Tour Following Sexual Assault Allegations

Last month, several allegations against Yves Tumor circulated online, accusing the musician of sexual assault and abusive behavior. One allegation of groping was accompanied by video evidence. Yves Tumor, also known as Shanti or Sean Lee Bowie, denied the allegations and said he would be taking "extreme legal action." Now, he's been removed from Turnstile's tour.

The tour was announced in June with a slew of openers at select dates such as Slayyyter, Clipse, Vince Staples, Thundercat, Nourished By Time, Porches, and more. Yves Tumor had been slated for three dates: Sept. 12 in Toronto alongside Saya Gray and Pluto's Kiss, Sept. 26 in Portland, Maine, alongside Fiddlehead, and Sept. 29 in Raleigh alongside Angel Du$t and Agnostic Front. A few days ago, Canadian hardcore punk crew No Warning were revealed as replacements for the Toronto date, and on Wednesday (Sept. 9) Tampa death metal outfit Obituary were announced as replacements for Raleigh. No replacement has been announced for the Portland date, but Yves Tumor is no longer listed as a performer for it on the band's website.
